A Short Biography: 

D. Scott Henderson joined Luther Rice Seminary & University's faculty in the Fall of 2008. He teaches courses in apologetics, philosophy and ethics. Prior to that, Dr. Henderson taught philosophy at Franciscan University  in Stuebenville, OH.  He has spoken on numerous topics in apologetics and bioethics at various venues and was a contributor to Norman Geisler's Baker's Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics and Josh McDowell's The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict. Moreover, Dr. Henderson has served in hospitals in Ohio and Pennsylvania as an in-service lecturer and policy writer and was an adviser and research assistant for the creation of Franciscan University's Institute of Bioethics in Steubenville, OH. He is also a member of the speaker/consultant bureau with the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity. His research interests include ethical issues at the end-of-life, defining death, and organ transplantation. He, his wife, and four children currently reside in Cumming, GA.
