"Never has there been a greater need for evangelical scholars to band together to give a scholarly defense against the relentless and increasingly sophisticated attacks being leveled against the Christian Faith. God had called ISCA into existence for just that purpose. I am excited to be a part of it."
Dr. Norman L. Geisler, President |

"Christian Apologetics in the 21st century needs to adapt to a world in which non-Christian religions are becoming a part of our culture. ISCA pays special attention to assisting each other in this new challenge in presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ."
Dr. Winfried Corduan, Webmaster |
The purpose of the Society is stated in the bylaws as:
|
|
Full membership requires a minimum of an M.A. in a field related to apologetics (including, but not limited to: Apologetics, Philosophy, Bible, Theology, History, Science, or Comparative Religion) or its equivalent. Students who are pursuing at least an M.A. in one of those fields are eligible for student membership. Exceptions will be considered by the executive committee.
The ISCA will hold an annual meeting during the first week of June, publish a printed journal, as well as maintain an on-line journal on this website. The Society also provides encouragement and fellowship for scholars across the disciplines working to underscore the truth of Bible-based Christian belief, as they seek to strengthen the Church in its task of upholding the Saviorhood and Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Dr. H. Wayne House, author of many books and well-known for his helpful collections of charts, recently averred concerning the ISCA:"There has been no time in history more than today that has needed a clear and decisive statement on the truthfulness of the Christian faith. In our pluralistic, and often hostile culture, the Christian needs to give a clear and vigorous defense of truth and morality. The International Society of Christian Apologetics will help provide opportunity for the sharpening of ideas that may be used in setting forth truth to our world." More news |
"In a generation that has traded its heroes for celebrities, morality for money, patience for passions, and--sadly--the truth for a lie; it's refreshing to be a part of a society that equips, encourages, and stands for the truth of the historic Christian faith." |

Dr. John Ankerberg, the celebrated author and TV host, has endorsed the ISCA. He declared, "There has always been a need for a society in which Christian scholars could come together and discuss the latest issues in apologetics. ISCA is that society." More news |
